I feel like as this series continues on you all will be seeing a lot of Richard Fairgray in it. I have loved Richard and his work for a while now and with everything he creates I not only enjoy the finished product but am continually amazed at how much work this man puts out. He is the prime example of someone who you will not out work, and from conversations we’ve had on and off air I know he is always trying to push himself to do more and better.
Haunted Hill is probably my favorite series Richard has done. Not only is a great mix of real life events and horror but it also has so much of himself in it. This adds so much charm to the series full of fun twists of the genre. For those that may not know Haunted Hill is a comic about a woman named Eva who lives on Haunted Hill in Los Angeles. While going about her life she gets herself into comedic situations and sometimes horror-esc things like serial killers, ghosts, and such. For those that may not like horror media this comic is more of a comedy than horror. Anyone that’s been on Kickstarter this past year you have probably seen Richard’s art style but for those that haven’t I find it hard to explain. This is because his style is his own, so I recommend checking out the campaign page to see it for yourself.
Another positive, to me, about Richard’s Kickstarter campaigns is the simplicity of it all. For this one he is offering three covers, all of which are above in this post, and drawn by himself. If you are new to his work he does offer many of his past comics, like Four-Color Heroes, Ex-Wives of Frankenstein, Octopus, and more, through add-ons. So there is plenty to check out, and plenty to love.
As always I do hope that you all take a second to check out the campaign and back it if it interests you. I have always enjoyed Richard’s work so it is easy for me to continue to recommend it to you all. Make sure to click the Kickstarter link below and check it out, as well as comment below if you did back the project!
